Strapless dresses, deep necklines and large bows are right on trend this year. And in 2021? Anne-Kathrine Rantzau, Managing Director of Lilly Brautmoden, is already venturing to predict the trends.
I imagine that there will be an explosion of styles and fabrics. We will see tulle, georgette and organza in combination with satin and lace layerings and glitter. 3D effects such as those created by appliqué flowers are on the rise. The catwalks will be defined by fit & flare and mermaid silhouettes as well as dynamic A-lines. Alongside the sweetheart neckline and the V-neck, the deep-plunge will probably be the favourite neckline of the 2021 season.
Good question. I am betting on a mixture of the swinging fifties and the pulsating eighties.
I think that the pure boho look has had its day. Many of its elements are now integrated into the popular styles.
At Lilly, you will find, amongst other things, cream-coloured creations with filmy tulle skirts, figure-hugging tops and sophisticated lace layerings. Low-cut backs, cut-outs and fine straps, which may also cross at the back. And, of course, large-flowered or ornamental lace layerings, which emphasise the feminine silhouette.
Thank you for the interview!
